Tasting Notes
A highly limited single malt release, exclusive to Bruny Island House of Whisky.
46% ABV. Created in collaboration with Derwent Distillery, this release is a fusion of classic distilling tradition and the most modern barrel utilization practices. A re-coopered 20ltr cask, infused under pressure with quality, Australian tawny, and filled with superb, complex new-make under the direct supervision of Robbie Gilligan, the Derwent Head Distiller.
Nose: Dark, dusky chocolate paired with deep red wine.
Palate: A subtle hint of Nougat, Juicy Apricot and a nutty, toasted Almond.
Finish: a gentle finish of warm, dry oak, with a lingering hint of creamy vanilla.
